Big News: Best Friends Part Deux

Well hello again Friends! We've got  a big news deal today before I finalize my "R" word post for sometime in the next couple of days. Like even bigger than my skinny jeans news! I know, I know, I was surprised too. So hold on to your socks/ running shoes!

1- First! I've decided to try out some fitness/ running related products and let you know how they work out here. No, I'm not getting paid to do this, although that would be like... wonderful. Our first review will be *Drum Roll* Sports Bras! Without getting into to much detail, us bustier ladies have a love/hate relationship with sports bras. We love them cuz they are supposed to hold things in and hate them because they usually don't. I have been looking high and log for a new one without much success. Hurray! Victoria's Secret now makes them! Without to many deets I'm super excited. VS is definitely my undergarment brand of choice. You get what you pay for and VS is totally worth it. One is on order and will be reviewed for this publication. Aren't you all lucky.

2- As previously discussed Christmas was great. Getting together with friends and family is always the highlight of my Holiday plans and this year was no different! In fact, it was even better because it involved getting to see some friends from Arizona that don't normally make it up to the frozen north much. (Ironic antidote, The day I'm going to meet them for dinner, the nastiest snow storm we've had all winter arrives). These snow-bringing people I speak of are my good friends Cindy and Derek. You'll recognize Cindy from many a previous post including the wildly popular Best Friends.  For some background, Cindy and I went to HS together, did Science Olympiad together and had the honor of standing up with each other in our respective weddings. So blah, blah we're buds and have been for a while. Towards the end of our fun (snowy) dinner, Cindy gave MB a stuffed monkey for Christmas and me a box containing this.

After a moment of confusion, I realized it had 13.1 stamped on it, my 1/2 marathon goal. "Aw, thanks!" I said, before realizing that Cindy was holding up a matching key chain..... Even more confused I sat there for a second until she said "I'm doing it with you" Again more sitting silence as my slow brain worked through the fact that Cindy was and is going to run the Princess Half Marathon at WDW with me!!!!!!!!!! Wow is all I have to say. Excited doesn't even begin to describe how I'm feeling. She's even going to wear a tutu with me! Talk about friends. I never expected anyone would actually take me up on my offer but boy am I glad she did! Now not only do I have a training partner but I get to experience this really momentous accomplishment in our lives with a true, true friend.  So Cindy, YOU ROCK!

Being the gracious, awesome person she is, she has agreed to occasionally guest blog! Phew for you guys getting a break from my ramblings. Not only is she training too but she is also an amazing cook so we'll all be in for some delicious treats I think!

So there you have it, not sure there is a better way to end 2012 and look forward into 2013 than taking on a challenge with a friend. Here's to 2013, I'll be back in a couple days with my "official" resolutions post. Be ready to share yours!!

And the journey continues!

P.S. There is always room for more if you want to get in on the running action! :)

And I'm back!

Well hey there peeps! Long time no chat! Let me start out by saying I have literally been not caring what I've even for the past two weeks. Like seriously I'm eating leftover homemade queso right now. Food is a huge part of my family's Holiday festivities and while I was mindful, I didn't really think about it much beyond that and I'm so OK with that! I started this to show people that you can be human and still work on being healthy without eating a carrot for every meal so enjoy this time of year! (GAH! Just cut my mouth with a tortilla chip, stupid Karma)

So it's that time again, time for the dreading/hated/feared etc "R" word. RESOLUTIONS. You know, those outrageous expextations we make of ourselves each January and then hate ourselves when we haven't accomplished the unattainable goal by February. Think I've been through that routine a couple times? I'm already getting email from various websites I'm subscribed to about how to set your resolutions and making it work this year, blah, blah. Just not feeling it yet. I have some ideas of what mine are going to be this year, I bet you all can guess the major one. I'm also hoping to focus on some smaller just general health related ones too. Don't worry I plan on sharing all my goals in the hope that you all will share yours and we can help each other along!

Other than stuffing my face not much has been happening (and that includes working out). Christmas with my family was fantastic as usual. Love being with everyone and seeing the kids open their presents followed by more eating of course. My nephew seems to have given everyone the plague so I'm currently fighting that off which doesn't make exercising seem any more appealing. MB also has said plague plus a case of pink eye in both eyes which included a furiously frustrating 1.5 hour trip to urgent care Christmas Eve for the Dr to spend 1.5 Minutes telling us she had pink eye. Still pissed about that. Hoping the new year brings a bout of good health and motivation to this family! So here's to finishing up the Holidays with dinner with friends, mini road trips and more eating! Let's enjoy these last few lazy days before the "real work" begins! Wishing everyone a (belated) Happy Holidays!

And the journey continues!

P.S I ALMOST FORGOT!! I got new skinny jeans from my mom for Christmas, from Gap, In a smaller size!!!! WH0000000T!!! If that's not motivation, I don't know what it! Can you tell I'm excited?? :)

Random Musings

There really hasn't been enough going on to warrant a full post so here are some randoms that have been floating around my head.

1. Yay! I've been consitently doing a more on the elliptical and while it doesn't feel good at the time, it sure feels good after. But whoever said being skinny tastes better than anything has never eaten one of my gingerbread cookies. Just saying (P.S. My Skinny Jeans are already getting big at the waist! YAHOOOOO!)

2. Getting Nervous! I set a hard deadline on one year out from the race to actually start "running" and it's terrifying me! What if I can't do? What if I hurt myself? *Panicky wheeze* But I know this is something I REALLY want to do so I'm going to do it! Still debating on whether of not I want the hubs to do it with me. Do I want to cross that finish line by myself or with him? Hmmm, decisions, decisions. And what is everyone's opinion on like "running clothes"? Do you need them or do sweats and a T shirt work just as well?

3. Who needs sleep? With MB having some serious sleep issues it's amazing how fast your body can revert back to the newborn stage where you can function on little to no sleep. (Slept through the night last night! Fingers crossed it continues) Has anyone used night time diapers? Someone suggested to try those and wondered if anyone has had any success.

4. Treats! Very excited about the next installment of the food part of this venture. I'm kind of obsessed with making marshmallows. Everybody things they are hard and they are actually quite easy. Just gelatin, a sugar syrup and an electric mixer. Well, my wonderful mother got me a marshmallow cookbook for my birthday and I'm dying to try some new ones! First up, chocolate filled marshmallows. YUM! That should make for a nice change to all these exercise and weight loss stuff, right?

5. Follow Up: So I don't normally post pictures of my underwear on the internet. Ha! That makes me LOL just thinking about that phrase. But I've had numerous requests to actually see the size of the undies I was gifted as part of the Best Friends post I did a couple weeks ago. Well, I'm not going to model them, not really my style.

Now I can't get the picture to rotate right but I think it goes without saying that the green ones are mine :) I swear the white ones are longer than MB and she's pretty darn tall for a 1 year old. So thanks again for the continued laughs Cindy! :)

And the journey continues......

Celebrate!

Big News this weekend, I mean some seriously big news..... Ok maybe not so big to regular people but big to me. I have two words for you. Skinny. Jeans. That's right homeys, this lady got herself into a pair of skinny jeans. No they aren't size 2, I don't think these birthing hips are ever going to be a size 2 but they are in a size smaller than I was in and they are skinny jeans! I'm obsessed with my Uggs (Don't judge me I live in a state where we normally have snow up to our behinds for at least 4 months out of the year) and was looking for some jeans to go with them and I thought what the heck, let's try on some skinnies and crush what little self esteem I have built up.... And then, Pop! They slipped right on. I think the other patrons in the store's dressing room area thought I was crazy because I burst out of my room dancing and squealing. Now while I'm still not convinced they don't make my thigh area look like ham shanks, I plan on wearing them proudly with my oh-so wonderful Uggs. You know, after the temperature isn't 60 in December....

The reason I brought up my recent fashion choices (Besides being able to get smaller pants! WH00T) is because I recently read an article about a B-C list celebrity who lost 60 pounds. She did it to be more active with her young son and at the suggestion of her doctor since she was technically classified as obese. First of all Yay to her! I mean 60 pounds is incredible! My problem is when she was interviewed for People she said that still had all of her "fat" clothes in the back of her closet because she is sure she will need them again. Well you sure as well will with that attitude! Seriously lady you should be celebrating your amazing achievement not brooding about gaining the weight all back! I know self esteem in previously heavy girls is a problem, like for real know. We continue to see ourselves in our former size not and not recognize the progress we have made. Keeping your old clothes in your closet though is bad ju-ju. It totally gives you an excuse to hop right off that wagon and back into your old habits.

Well I am proud to say that while I haven't made the unrealistic progress I had envisioned for myself, with some coaching from my wonderful hubby, I am beginning to take pride in what I have done. The first thing I did was rip all those old jeans out of my closet and toss them in the Goodwill pile. Who wants to stare at ill-fitting jeans? I never want to go back to my old size so I'm not keep them around as a reminder of my unhappiness, it seems unhealthy to me. How do you all stay motivated?

So where are we? 1-2 pant sizes down, feeling better and excited to keep going! Had MB's birthday party this weekend so I'm eating salads for lunch this week for some detox after the wonderful party food and birthday cake. What's coming up? The one year countdown of course! I've given myself until 1 year out to work on general fitness, come February the actual 1/2 marathon training starts! Given that this year's race is sold out (!) I'm going to have to register at soon as the 2014 race opens. I'm hoping that will push me to finish this thing too. Still looking for anybody who's interested, hint hint.

And the journey continues!

Thanks but No Thanks

And we're back! And no I didn't spend the last week sulking, things just got cray-cray with Thanksgiving and a barfing baby and husband and then a cold infested baby and husband. So far I've gotten off pretty easy on the disease front *Knock on wood*

So today's topic of discussion is that not-so-help but always free flowing unsolicited advice.  Now I expected some of the advice of the unsolicited variety because I am putting my journey out there publicly to hopefully inspire some people to join. Let me be 100% clear, the comments on the blog so far have been 100% encouraging and helpful and I read and appreciate every single one. The advice I am talking about is people who know what I'm up to coming up to me and telling me how I can do it better/faster/etc. You get used to people telling you what you are doing wrong when you have a baby. It's like a free pass for strangers to come up and judge how you are raising your kid but losing weight or going on any sort of fitness endeavor is a deeply personal thing so here are some answers to a couple questions people have asked/suggested.
1- Why don't you a "X" diet? I have zero self control, let me just say that. Anything that involves deprivation will not work for me. I have tried just about every diet out there including but not limited to The Special K diet, the No Carb diet, the only vegetable diet and all have been epic failures. When I feel hungry/depraved all the time I get real depressed real quick and then end up giving up and eating whatever I want. *Personal opinion alert* I feel very strongly that cleanses, fasting, etc does NOT work. The moment you start eating again you gain all the weight back and study after study has shown how bad yo-yoing is for your overall health. Any diet that forbids you eat a certain food does not get an endorsement from me but as I said any weight loss is a personal matter and you need to choose what you and your doctor feel is the best for you and your situation.
2- Why don't you try Weight Watchers? Well, I have actually and as far as programs go I think this is a really solid one. I love that the focus is on what you can eat instead of what you can't. I like their online tools plus all the recipes and food options. I really like how it teaches you what the correct portion sizes are and how to make good food choices. I just did not have good success with it. I tried it twice and both times gave up when that feeling of "you can't eat that" came up. So while I think this is a great option (reasonably priced in my mind too) it just wasn't for me. What has worked for me is making small changes to my diet that still let me enjoy food. I'm a foodie, you all know that and taking that away does not make for a happy momma. So now I'm just more conscious of what I'm eating. For Thanksgiving I focused more on the veggies than usual. Now I eat one cookie instead of five. I eat salads for lunch and make sure that I have breakfast. I know I'm going to have to most likely make some more habit changes once I start to plateau but for now I'm seeing results and am still able to enjoy all the foods I love.

I've gotten tons of other tidbits of advice but we will save those for another post.  I'm very happy with my progress so far though. Aside from some minor depressive moments, this is the longest I have ever stuck to any weight loss anything and the most progress I have ever made. Shirts that I never wore fit now, old pants are to big and I don't feel like I'm having an asthma attack when I go up a flight of stairs. I'm by no means at my goal but I'm getting there. I refuse to set a number goal, that isn't how I role.(Ha, that rhymes)  My overall objective is just healthy and happy (And running a half marathon of course) but I can confidently say I have lost about 10 lbs. (YAY!) I'm still in a mostly regular elliptically routine and am excited to save up enough money for a treadmill!

That's enough rambling for the day I think :)
QOB's
What is the best/worst advice you have ever been given regarding fitness/weight loss?
How do you feel about any of the diets listed above?
Are you a fan of snow in the winter or do you wish you lived at the equator?

Best Friends

There are so many sappy quotes floating around the internet these days about what friends are and what they do for you. Friends let you cry on their shoulders, friends will love you no matter what, blah, blah, blah. I'm going to call shenanigans on that. Real friends, true friends that know you inside and out do this....
What are those you ask? Well those are plus sized women's cotton briefs. Why the heck am I posting a picture of (decidedly unsexy) underwear on the internet? Well buddies, these little gems arrived on my doorstep from with this note.
If you can't read the text it says and I quote, *throat clearing*
"Wanted to make sure that you had enough big girl panties.... put em on and keep your butt moving :-) HUGS. You are going to do great- look how far you've already come! Keep it up! Can't wait to see you next month! Cindy"

That's right people!! "Best" friends may be there to rub your shoulders, tell you everything is ok and gossip about other people with you. But Real friends send your ridiculously sized underwear they found on Amazon from Arizona to "keep your butt moving!". Cindy is one of my very near and dear friends and this sort of sense of humor is why we are friends. These also could not have come at a better time. As I was rushing home to a sick MB in a state of panic as any new mother would, these showed up on my steps thus allowing me a couple minutes of hysterical, choking laughter to replace the hysterical panic attack that was growing inside me. MB did have to go to ER for a bit but after some Zofran for barfing she seems to be on the mend.

So while the offer was put up to return them and get something for MB I think I will be keeping these comically large undies and adding them to board of motivation to keep me going :) What odd things do you use to motivate yourself in your fitness goals?
Oh and Cindy you are the best friend a girl could want :)

The journey continues!

Still going.....

Still going but not very fast. I can't lie, last week was a bad week. No motivation, still getting over being sick and just general lack of caring. My sudden and rather intense apathy probably had something to do with some not fun times at work. Without going into to many details it can be very hard some days to be in a male dominated field like IT and not feel like you are a second class citizen to your male colleagues. I mean seriously I've been here for 8 years learning new things, taking on new projects the whole time! I'm going back to school to learn more for pity's sake! What else can I do to prove myself????........ #EndRant

Anyway back to the jogging and the food part. Last week was the first time I seriously questioned whether I can do this or not. I'm sure there will be many more of these moments to come, especially when we get into some of the harder training runs but I thought about just calling it quits this weekend. I even fantasized about the gracious, yet journey ending blog post I was going to write and publish to oh six or eight people (It's a movie joke, watch Morning Glory, cheesy but funny :) ) What followed was an (incredibly) large pity party complete with a requiem played on the worlds tiniest violin and a tube of Rolo's (heaven enrobed in chocolate) And then when I stopped feeling sorry for myself I decided I need to pull on my big girl undies, get my butt off the couch and do this because as lazy as I am, I really really REALLY want to do this. The thought of crossing that finish line gives me goosebumps! So it's a new week, I'm still not feeling great but I'm pushing forward! For the food part, I really haven't made anything interesting enough to blog about, in my opinion at least. However, MB is having a first birthday party soon (GAH!!! TO SOON!) and this weekend I'm hoping to start the food prep so I'll post a ridiculously easy and delicious recipe for some empanadas. It's not even a real recipe, just throwing some stuff together but I swear you will eat about 10 when you make them! My new kitchen idol (Miss Smitten Kitchen http://smittenkitchen.com/) posted a recipe for apple cider caramels that simply must be made soon as well.

So good eating, good jogging, good whatever else you are doing! Until next time!

What to do...

When you are told by your doctor that you have one of the worst cases of strep throat he's ever seen? Mope at home and blog of course! I'm somewhat of a strep throat expert, I swear I've had it about 20 times in my life but this one is seriously a doozy. So I've been ordered home and put on some horse pill sized antibiotics for the next 10 days. Now all this wouldn't really bother me because I am very fortunate to have a job that I can work anywhere I have internet. The sucky part is my strep is so bad I've been ordered away from MB for 24 hours! I can't be anywhere near my baby girl on her first Halloween! *Insert sad face here* So she's off to spend Halloween with Kyle and Grandma and Grandpa at their house and I have to go to school (BOOOO! We have a test review) and then sequester myself in the extra bedroom until I'm not an incubus of bacterial plague. Sigh, I know it's only Halloween but she's my first born and I'm all about those milestones! Hopefully this sickness goes away soon so I'm not laid up for long! So no running or workout talks, not QOB's, just the sick ramblings of cranky, sick girl.

Stay healthy my friends!

Still Trucking along

Welcome to Fall my friends! Only in Michigan can it be 80 degrees on Thursday and then 45 degrees on Friday.

Back to the task at hand, yes I'm still working out, yes I'm still planning to run a half marathon in aprox. 483 days. :) I've just decided to refine my tactics. For the time being I'm focusing on overall fitness. After talking to a lot of running peeps I/We think it's better to get myself into some sort of physical conditioning before I balls out on marathon training. I'm on a great elliptical routine so far and looking to start adding other activities in on top of my weekly Pilates. I'm not not running, I'm just not beating myself up for taking it slow. My #1 concern is injury and as many of you know my last venture into running ended with a surgery to remove some seriously damaged tendons in my right ankle. So this time around we are going slow and steady. The great thing about this training program that I'm using is it's a 22 week training so even if I start a year out I've still got more than enough time to get it done with leeway to double up on some weeks.
The course is posted for this years race and I must say, it seems more daunting actually seeing the distance on a map but I am bound and determined to do this! And if wanting to get smaller jeans isn't motivation enough, I'll be running at freaking Walt Disney World and spending a couple days before and after there celebrating! So that helps with the motivation.

So I appreciate the concerned questions but I assure you there is no need to get your stick out Cindy! I'm not giving up EVER! This will get done, I will cross that finish line in a tutu, arms raised in triumph with a good possibility of tears flowing. :)

And I think I need to make these this weekend. It just about the most delicious looking thing I have seen in a long time. And if you are into food Smitten Kitchen is a must read blog! I stumbled upon it looking for a blueberry bar recipe and have been hooked ever since! Every recipe that I have tried has been great!

Questions of the blog (which will hence be known as QOB):
Moms- MB has hence decided that getting into her carseat is the most AWFUL THING EVER. She throws a huge fit everytime. Please tell me this doesn't last!
She also has the world's worst gag reflex and refuses to eat anything solid that isn't baby food and oatmeal. She actually makes herself gag and throws up. Even oatmeal that's to thick will gag her. Any suggestions??
Everyone else- What kind of other activities are you guys into? I'm all about Pilates and elliptical-ling but I like diversity too. Thoughts?

And the journey continues!

YES!!

What's better than going to the store for new jeans and having to get two sizes smaller than the last time you bought jeans? And stepping on the scale and finally getting down to the next group of 10? NOTHING!!!!! Who knew that shopping for jeans which is normally such a point of stress has turned into huge motivation? Needless to say I'm excited a lot. Finally got some good running pants (That turned out to be maternity.... don't ask, long story) and I was all excited to actually you know start running and then it monsoon-ed all weekend so that was a no go. Still on a very regular elliptical-ling routine which is obviously doing some good and I'm sure screaming at the TV during the Tigers game last night burned a few calories along the way. So we are well on our way! I'm still looking for any interested ladies (and gentlemen!) who might be interested in going on this journey with me (hint, hint, nudge, nudge) And good luck to all you Grand Rapids Marathoners this weekend!

Coming to you from the Do-Gooder's category:
I don't normally advocate specific things but I think this is such a great charity. It's a syndicated morning radio show (Heard in GR on 95.7 ) That takes 50 families with terminally or chronically children  to Walt Disney World for an all expenses paid trip for 5 days. The really great thing about this is that they take the whole family so they can make memories together. For a lot of these kids this will be their only true vacation because medical expenses are so outrageous. As an adult I love going to Disney so I can't imagine the joy of a whole family getting to share this once in a  lifetime experience. Please take a second to check out their website and consider donating $10.00 to help these kids get a chance to be kids. I mean what feels better than helping someone out?? (Other than new, smaller jeans that is :) )

As Promised!

I’m all about trying to add super healthy ingredients and sweet potatoes are pretty up there in terms of vitamins and minerals. What’s that? You want me to put them in pancakes that taste and smell like donuts? Don’t mind if I do! I found this recipe on a preview for a new Disney cookbook and was immediately interested; I mean who doesn’t love pancakes!  Since pictures speak a thousand words, here was the process:

Notes/Adjustments: Again, these were GREAT! So I just made a few adjustments. Since it was just the hubs and I, I only did half a stick of butter (but all the pecans and honey) for the topping. The honey was good but next time I might try brown sugar butter instead, I think it might match the flavor better. While no method for cooking the sweet potato is mentioned, I recommend the microwave. It was genius! Much faster than roasting or boiling. In our smallish microwave it took about 3ish minutes per side, flipping once. Just be sure to prodigiously perforate your potato to avoid a disaster and make sure your potato is very soft and cooked through. Also I did mine on a paper plate to contain the mess. We had to cook ours on pretty low heat for longer than the directions to keep the outside from burning and to get the inside cooked all the way. All in all, Delicious! I will for sure be making these fall delights again!

In other news, I'm having some serious motivation issues. I'm slowly widdling away my laundry list of excuses and I'm still having a tough time getting out there and doing it! The Michigan weather isn't helping at all either. Hopefully better news next time :/ Until then, Enjoy the pancakes!

From the Delicious Disney Holidays Cookbook which is in stores now (which I most definitely need):
Sweet Potato Pancakes With Honey-Pecan Butter
Serves 4 to 6
2 1/4 cups all-purpose flour
3 teaspoons baking powder
1/4 teaspoon ground cinnamon
1/4 teaspoon ground nutmeg
1/4 teaspoon salt
1 1/2 cups milk
1 1/4 cups brown sugar
3/4 cup cooked, mashed sweet potato (from about 1 small sweet potato)
3 large eggs
3 tablespoons vegetable oil
1 teaspoon vanilla extract
1/2 cup butter, at room temperature
1/4 cup honey
1/4 cup chopped toasted pecans
  1. Preheat oven to 225°F.
  2. Sift flour into a large bowl. Add baking powder, cinnamon, nutmeg, and salt, and whisk until
    combined.
  3. Combine milk, brown sugar, sweet potato, eggs, vegetable oil, and vanilla extract in a large bowl; whisk until well blended. Add milk mixture to flour mixture, and stir until just blended.
  4. Heat a nonstick griddle or skillet over medium-low heat until a few drops of water sizzle on the surface. If using an electric skillet, preheat to 350°F.
  5. Spoon about 1/4 cup of batter per pancake onto skillet. Cook on first side until tops bubble and sides look dry; flip and cook until golden brown, about 2 minutes more.
  6. Place cooked pancakes on a baking sheet and place into preheated oven to keep warm. Repeat
    process with remaining batter.
  7. Stir together butter, honey and pecans in a medium bowl.
  8. Top pancakes with honey-pecan butter, and serve immediately.

I'm feeling good!

To quote Michael Buble’ , “And I’m feeling good!” The past week has been a good one! I finally broke down and bought me a brand new pair of running shoes from the locally wonderful Gazelle Sports… You know, after I swallowed the barf that came up my esophagus when I saw the price. Aren’t they pretty?
Gazelle was really wonderful, they really took the time to get to know you, your goals, and your feet as gross and odd as that sounds. So after explaining my janky feet to “John” he picked out a few that he thought would work and after a couple we found a winner! I will agree with Cindy that having an expensive pair of shoes that don’t hurt my feet really does work for motivation.
Another reason why Gazelle Sports is great is this little gem!

Yes I know, I spent a lot of money with them but they didn’t have to send anything out and the fact that it was personalized and John remembered what I was training for really touched me for some silly reason. Needless to say this is going on board on encouragement!

I also got the book I’ve been waiting for finally! Half-Marathon: A Complete Guide for Women by Jeff Galloway. He’s the runDisney training consultant and I’ve only read a little but I’m really loving it. He points out where women can go wrong and how to train correctly. AND his training method is specifically designed for couch to running (me).
http://www.barnesandnoble.com/w/half-marathon-jeff-galloway/1100351009?ean=9781841263663
Check it out if you are at all interested in joining me on this outrageous journey (Hint, hint, nudge, nudge)

Also I decided that a treadmill is going to be the best way to eliminate the last part of my many excuses. I can’t whine about not wanting to run outside in the cold/wind/winter/etc  if the running implement is in my basement. So that’s on the docket for next quarter’s bonus. I’ve been looking at a moderately priced ProForm, same brand as my elliptical. Any suggestions? For you runners out there, any problems with doing most of my training indoors in the winter and then moving outside in the spring?

In other new I did in fact make those sweet potato pancakes and there amazing so I’ll definitely be putting up a post about those soon. Hey, sweet potatoes are super packed full of vitamins, don’t judge how I eat them :) And my latest musical obsession is Most Nights by Fun. This will most definitely be added to my workout iTunes selections.
And the journey continues!
