And I'm back!

Well hey there peeps! Long time no chat! Let me start out by saying I have literally been not caring what I've even for the past two weeks. Like seriously I'm eating leftover homemade queso right now. Food is a huge part of my family's Holiday festivities and while I was mindful, I didn't really think about it much beyond that and I'm so OK with that! I started this to show people that you can be human and still work on being healthy without eating a carrot for every meal so enjoy this time of year! (GAH! Just cut my mouth with a tortilla chip, stupid Karma)

So it's that time again, time for the dreading/hated/feared etc "R" word. RESOLUTIONS. You know, those outrageous expextations we make of ourselves each January and then hate ourselves when we haven't accomplished the unattainable goal by February. Think I've been through that routine a couple times? I'm already getting email from various websites I'm subscribed to about how to set your resolutions and making it work this year, blah, blah. Just not feeling it yet. I have some ideas of what mine are going to be this year, I bet you all can guess the major one. I'm also hoping to focus on some smaller just general health related ones too. Don't worry I plan on sharing all my goals in the hope that you all will share yours and we can help each other along!

Other than stuffing my face not much has been happening (and that includes working out). Christmas with my family was fantastic as usual. Love being with everyone and seeing the kids open their presents followed by more eating of course. My nephew seems to have given everyone the plague so I'm currently fighting that off which doesn't make exercising seem any more appealing. MB also has said plague plus a case of pink eye in both eyes which included a furiously frustrating 1.5 hour trip to urgent care Christmas Eve for the Dr to spend 1.5 Minutes telling us she had pink eye. Still pissed about that. Hoping the new year brings a bout of good health and motivation to this family! So here's to finishing up the Holidays with dinner with friends, mini road trips and more eating! Let's enjoy these last few lazy days before the "real work" begins! Wishing everyone a (belated) Happy Holidays!

And the journey continues!

P.S I ALMOST FORGOT!! I got new skinny jeans from my mom for Christmas, from Gap, In a smaller size!!!! WH0000000T!!! If that's not motivation, I don't know what it! Can you tell I'm excited?? :)
